Sarah Burton To Carry On The Legacy Of Alexander McQueenNo Comments The fashion world has lost a brilliant avant-garde artist, but Alexander McQueen’s legacy will live on through new Creative Director, Sarah Burton.
Burton has lent her creative expertise to the London-Based fashion house since 1996. She spent the last 10 years as the head of womenswear and was recently credited with completing McQeen’s F/W 2010 collection after his death.

2010 MTV Movie Awards: Framing the FamousNo Comments The 2010 MTV Movie Awards never fail when it comes to eliciting crowd wide “oh’s” and “ah’s”. Interestingly (or not) enough, I’d have to say the ladies were the definite show stoppers this time around. From Scarlett Johansson and Sandra Bullock’s impromptu lip lock to Katy Perry’s barely there sequin number “matched” with a brighter than life blue wig, these women stopped at nothing.

Sasquatch Music Festival 2010: A Sight Worth SeeingNo Comments Well, my annual trip up to the Washington/Oregon boarder to the Gorge Amphitheater for the Sasquatch Music Festival was once again a success. My love for live music is undoubtedly the main draw to this Memorial Day Long Weekend of music mayhem, but, I must admit, the people watching ain’t bad either. Meet our executive editor, Erin, who is also known around the LensWay office as "E-Dog". Her favorite designer frame is Diesel 0069, and it just so happens that her favorite eyeglass designer is Diesel as well. She prefers glasses to contacts. Why? Because why not make a statement?!
As our Chief Gossip Correspondent, Jenny, or "Jay" as she's known around LensWay, is our go-to gossip professional. Her favorite glasses designer is Marc Jacobs and tends to sport the Marc Jacobs 28 White frames in particular. When it comes to choosing between glasses or contacts, she picks non-prescription glasses. She's a strong believer that just because you may not need glasses yet, you shouldn't have to miss out on the fun!
Steve, our Information Officer, is known by the LensWay gang as "Wally". He prefers the sleek look of the Ltede frames collection and would say, in his opinion, the Ltede 1001 frames are the best out of the bunch. Steve likes to change up the winner in the fight between glasses and contacts as he prefers contacts by day and glasses by night!
Michelle is our acclaimed Fashion Correspondent who is affectionately known as "Mishi" around the office. Her favorite designer frame changes every time a new style pops up on her desk. But, for the moment, the Birka 2270 Blue frames are her top pick. Her all time favorite designer is Kate Spade and she prefers glasses to contacts.
