I must admit, my initial instinct was to dedicate this post to the one and only eyeglass wearing bachelor on Season 6 of The Bachelorette, Frank Neuschaefer. But, then I thought, huh, that’s just not fair. I mean, even though Frank has been my front runner for Ali since their first one-on-one date (and no, this has nothing to do with his specs… I actually think the lenses are a bit too small for his face, but we’ll get to that later)… I’ve decided to take Ali’s non-direct advice to me, and keep an open mind with the other hopefuls. And am I ever glad I did!

I never thought I was going to say this… but move over Frank, because Chris L. has arrived! I don’t know how he did it, but either way, Chris L. has managed to quietly K.O. Frank back to his parents basement (and ok, yes, the fact that Frank maaaaaaay have a girlfriend on the side isn’t helping the situation).

Even though we may be saying goodbye to Frank after tonight’s tearful episode (that’s just my premonition), I still think it’s our duty at LensWay to inform him of his glasses mishap. The moral of the story? Your glasses are too small! (At least for this young suitor).

Joseph Abboud 156 Black Pinstripe Glasses

Frank, you almost have it right, with one little mistake, let me explain. As you have a more square face shape, you’ve got it right to pick frames that have more rounded edges. Where you’ve gone wrong though is with the actual size of the frames. They’re too small! You need frames that extend fully across your face to balance out that oh so chizzled jawline – all of the frames above will do just the trick. Trust me… make this one little change and who knows, maybe my premonition for tonight’s outcome will be different?

Think you’re making a similar glasses faux pas?!
