The fashion world has lost a brilliant avant-garde artist, but Alexander McQueen’s legacy will live on through new Creative Director, Sarah Burton.
Burton has lent her creative expertise to the London-Based fashion house since 1996. She spent the last 10 years as the head of womenswear and was recently credited with completing McQeen’s F/W 2010 collection after his death.

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards never fail when it comes to eliciting crowd wide “oh’s” and “ah’s”. Interestingly (or not) enough, I’d have to say the ladies were the definite show stoppers this time around. From Scarlett Johansson and Sandra Bullock’s impromptu lip lock to Katy Perry’s barely there sequin number “matched” with a brighter than life blue wig, these women stopped at nothing.

Well, my annual trip up to the Washington/Oregon boarder to the Gorge Amphitheater for the Sasquatch Music Festival was once again a success. My love for live music is undoubtedly the main draw to this Memorial Day Long Weekend of music mayhem, but, I must admit, the people watching ain’t bad either. And this time around, I took it upon myself to people watch like I’ve never people watched before, and man oh man am I glad I did.
