Ask yourself, what does it cost today to build a mega brand?
We can all imagine the enormous costs it took to build the Coke brand and how much it’s worth today… but that’s an old-school brand. I’m talking about new-school brands that aren’t afraid to try new things and who have fresh and unique outlooks, like Google and Facebook. How much did it cost to build those brands?

A year ago, as we set our priorities for 2009, we were concerned about the economy. Doom and gloom were all around us and it was challenging to predict what the year would hold.

There are some companies that you just can’t help but notice; Zappos, the online shoe retailer, is a prime example. It is fairly obviously from first glance that the Zappos culture revolves around positivity and uniqueness, which are two terms that always put a smile on my face. For this reason, I decided to take a trip down to Las Vegas with fellow entrepreneur Brian Scudamore to visit with the Zappos CEO, Tony Hsieh, and find out what his personal philosophy is behind happiness and success.
