Last Spring, Missoni wowed us with stunning yellow silks in bold patterns (below left). For spring 2010, the Italian Fashion House used the same design concept of pattern and color, but did it in a more subdued, romantic way (below right). Sheer, kaleidoscopic patterns replaced large bold shapes, while soft breezy yellows replaced vibrant hues. The 2010 collection had the same cheerful effect, but was achieved in a more simplistic way. Dean and Dan Caten of DSQUARED² showcased a sublime Spring/Summer 2010 collection with an ode to the great outdoors.

No texture, fabric, or color combination was off limits as they paired tartan pleated frocks with sexy flowing silk and neutral beiges and browns with a pop of bright orange or yellow. Models were draped in loose shirts, cute boy scout inspired shorts, trucker hats and adorable, bright rubber rain booties.
